pregnancy
As soon as you book me as your doula, you have unlimited contact with me! I can answer questions, or just be there to listen to your worries/fears. (It is good to get them out and talk about them!)
We will have 2-3 prenatal visits where we will go over birth planning, comfort measures & pain relief, breathing techniques, and other support measures to make sure you are confident and prepared for birth.
Labor & birth
I will be on call at 38 weeks (unless otherwise specified) and will come as soon as you need me in labor. I will be there continuously throughout labor and birth and will usually stay for about 1-2 hours after birth of baby and can help with initial breastfeeding, if needed. I will provide emotional and physical support, partner support, and advocacy as needed.
postpartum
One postpartum visit is included around 1-2 weeks postpartum. We will talk about and process the birth and I will answer any questions you may have about it.
